What is the HydroGlow Facial? ​

The HydroGlow Facial uses hydrodermabrasian to non-invasively resurface the skin by breaking up the outer layer of the skin to reveal a smoother, more even texture. It combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration and antioxidant protection that removes dead skin cells and impurities and infusing custom boosting serums into the skin.

Hydrodermabrasion is used on all skin types to repair aging, congested, blemished, dull, or discolored skin. Oily skin can benefit from this too by becoming less greasy as pores are shrunk significantly. In addition, mild acne scars can be reduced and fine lines can be improved. This treatment can also be used to reduce puffy eyes. Overall, this process will increase circulation and lymph flow, along with many other benefits. The entire process of hydrodermabrasion takes only about half an hour to perform, and results such as skin softness and hydration will be evident immediately.

The HydroGlow Facial is a multi-step treatment that includes the following steps, depending on the facial that you choose:
  • Cleanse: We start with a deep cleanse of your skin.
  • Exfoliate: A gentle acid peel is brushed on your skin to loosen dirt and debris to unclog pores.
  • Hydrodermabrasion: A vacuum painlessly and thoroughly cleans old, dead skin to reveal a fresh layer underneath.
  • Extraction: A special suction tip extracts clogged pores and skin congestion. 
  • Hydrate: The Oxygen Infusion Treatment boosts your freshly cleansed skin with different custom blended booster serums and exosomes for powerful rejuvenation. 
  • Cryo Skin-Tightening Glacier Treatment: A cryotherapy wand is massaged over the skin with an custom glide serum to brighten skin, tighten pores, and reduce the appearance of fine lines.

How do I customize my HydroGlow Facial?

There are a few different ways to customize your treatment and make sure your skin is getting exactly what it needs. Our aesthetician will work with you to choose the perfect infusion booster serum:
  • Brightening: Even out pigmentation
  • Pore Clarifying: Address imperfections for even clearer skin
  • Ultra Hydrating: Moisturize and refresh your skin with hyaluronic acid
  • Vitamin C: Enjoy the protective benefits of powerful antioxidants

What is the recovery after a HydroGlow Facial?

Little to none! You’ll be free to jump right back into your daily routine. One of the benefits of the HydroGlow Facial experience is that there are no lengthy recovery times.  Patients can leave the office as soon as they’re done and return to their normal daily routine. You may experience some temporary redness. Immediately after the treatment, patients may have red/pink skin around the treatment site. This is perfectly normal. Please allow 12-48 hours for the uneven skin tone to resolve on its own.

​What is the Aftercare for a HydroGlow Facial?

​For aftercare, your provider will recommend customized products you can use at home to enhance and extend your results between treatments. As a general rule, we recommend the following:

What Should I Avoid After a HydroGlow Facial?

  • Avoid heat: Please avoid taking hot showers, saunas, and jacuzzis for a few days. The exfoliation process makes the fresh skin mildly sensitive to hot temperatures. 
  • Temporarily refrain from using other harsh skin treatments: You should avoid waxing, laser work, chemical peels or other exfoliating treatments such as scrubs for seven days after treatment since it may irritate your fresh, sensitive skin. Be careful using any skincare products that contain tretinoin, retinol, or any type of acids such as glycolic acid, lactic acid, and salicylic acid. 

How often should I have the HydroGlow Facial?

We recommend 1-2 treatments per month to see continued improvement and glowing results. Many people like to start with a series of 3 to 6 treatments spaced every other week to get their skin to a great place and then maintain their results with monthly touch-ups.
